April 11, 2016

Because the flow of land based marine litter, a.k.a. pollution, does not stop, we also do not stop. In fact, it is increasing worldwide, everyday. Reliable data regarding these exact quantities must also be increasing if we are to effect any meaningful change, so we clean and inventory litter every week, on two continents, rain or shine, then provide these databases. This Wednesday will be no exception;
  • location- Cordova Creek at the American River
  •  time- 11:30 a.m. till 1:00 p.m.-Wednesday, April 13, 2016
  •  actions-pick up and inventory all visible trash within an established area of the creek spillway then, properly dispose the waste, and publish the results on the web.
